Mini non-spoiler Review:
"Maggie is a seventeen year old girl who's had a bad year. Her mom left, her dad is depressed, she's graduating, barely, and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has.

Then she meets Caleb."

I first read this book all the way back in 2013 and 'bought' it when it was on offer at free and only on kindle. This book and author has only gone from strength to strength and now this wonderful book series not only on kindle but audio book and in paperback also.

The writing does have its draw backs and the editing process needs another look but the love for the characters I have in this story is profound and deep. I read this book on planes to holiday destinations, I read it in the bath after a hard day at work and I read it late at night when I can't seem to sleep.

I never liked nor enjoyed an instant love / soul mate trope but this story came to me as a young 17 year old love struck girl and it's stayed with me ever since. And it turned out to be so much more than a silly love sick story. The magical powers in this story are unique and beautiful and deadly and the tests and tribulations of this young couple are much greater than first kisses but instead revolves around saving the world.

This story is a fun, heartwarming romance perfect for a younger audience but would give any age a small reminiscent smile. And the rest of the series just gets better and better!! The character develop and the growth of plot throughout is truly joyful to experience and I hope all who read this lovely book enjoy it just as much as my 17 year old self did the first time I read it.
