The Road to Farringale by Charlotte E. English

5.0

I found this book to be very fun. It definitely doesn't take itself too seriously, which I find refreshing.

Ves, a Society operative, and Jay, a new recruit break the rules to try to solve the mystery of an illness plaguing the enclaves of trolls in the UK and Ireland.

I think what makes this so fun is that Ves is a fun character. She is the POV character and we get to see things from her perspective, which shows us who she is inside. She is flirty and fun and not afraid to take chances to solve the mystery.

I heartily enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading more in the series.
