This sequel beautifully deepened the world and its characters. I grew to adore Blythe even more. Her loyalty, strength, and quiet determination made her a truly standout in this installment. Fate was a standout in a completely different way. He was very complex and charismatic. I had complicated feelings about him. he’s fascinating and layered, but also cruel and detached in a way that left me questioning his intentions. Compared to Death’s emotional depth, Fate felt like a colder, more calculated force making the story more compelling. And of course, I still thoroughly enjoyed Signa. Her journey, her growth, and her emotional depth continue to make her a protagonist worth rooting for. I loved watching her find herself at Foxglove. Overall, Foxglove was a gripping, emotional read full of magic, mystery, and beautifully flawed characters. I loved it. So excited to read the very last one.
