Confess by Colleen Hoover
5.0

This was my first Colleen Hoover book and I think it was just wonderful! Both heartbreaking and heartwarming; and I just loved the ending that tied things together. I love stories that aspire the idea of fate without straying too far away from reality. If that makes sense.

I felt from the beginning that this story was very well structured and I loved seeing some of the confessions at the beginning, my favourites being the person who pays for a stranger's meal every time they go out to eat and the parent who hides a new toy for their son to wake up and find every morning because christmas should come every day. The confessions are even more powerful and effective to know that they are true confessions from real anonymous people.

Lastly, this may just be me personally but I never get tired of seeing characters experience drunk episodes in books and the reactions and responses of the character that comes to save them haha.
