The Girl in the Spider's Web by David Lagercrantz
3.0

Maybe 2.5 stars. This was a disappointment for me since I'm a huge fan of the other books. I wanted to love this, and I'm not even sure I liked it. Despite what it says on the cover, this is much more a "Blomkvist book" than a "Lisbeth book." The writing is fine, the narration (audiobook) was fine, and I can see the cohesiveness in style. However, the story itself was just kinda "blah." Every character seemed a little watered down, and the whole story was predictable. I kept waiting to be wrong about what I expected to happen next. But, no. I stayed up late one night finishing it, not because I was so riveted that I couldn't stop... but because I just wanted it to be over. If you decide to skip it, you're not missing anything.
