If I were to describe this book in a word, that would be "bipolar". Not in a bad way, but in the best way possible. Seeing the POV from the den was something that completed a whole left by the first volume. Lysandra trying to fit in the pack was something I enjoyed and admired because it was clear she was doing efforts to show them all she means no harm. This universe is becoming more and more interesting and addicting as pages go by. I still have half of series left and I am starting to feel so depress that it will finally come to an end. I feel like i need to make everyone in the world to read the series because it truly is underrated which is...awful.
Back to the book, a thing I certainly did not like is how whenever Lysandra and Lisar were about to have a moment of happiness, something came in between and ruin the moment. This is probably why I am not rating the book 5 stars, otherwise I would have. Another thing I still don't know how to feel about is
the unexpected ship of Bryn and Tomlein. I honestly did not feel the need for an inter-racial romance other than Lysandra and Lisar. But this may as well just be my opinion only.

Overall, 'Den of Wolves' had me as in love as 'Court of Vampires' did and I look forward to starting the next volume, yet I will be very sad to because that means being one step closer to say goodbye to the universe and the characters.
