We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

4.0

##not really spoilers, but maybe## The twist was exceptionally executed, but honestly this was fascinating even without the brilliant reveal. The mother daughter tension, the fairytales growing increasingly more fractured, and the King Lear inspired madness all made this more than just another zinger. Lockhart writes this family dynamic well, as any daughter of one of three daughters will tell you.
