If The Troop was a scalpel with its intimate emotional scenes and deep disgusting cuts, then this is a shotgun blast. So much more gory and brutal, but also a lot more messy. I think the Gets was underused for such a hefty concept. I love the scientific aspects of this and the depiction of the raw powers at work (delta P at subnautica levels is insane). The backstory discussions were ranting and he tries his best to incorporate them in a reasonable way but it still makes me lose focus on what is actually happening. Not sure if that was on purpose with the Gets or not but that brings it back to the previous problem.
