It's such a sweet and thoughtful book. Figuring out your sexuality can be super easy for some, and for others, it can be totally blurry and confusing. This book really captured that confusion in coming out as bi. I hated the unsupportive "supportive" friend. She made me crazy from the jump. It can be hard to figure out your feelings when you have thought of yourself one way for a long time. I had a really hard time coming to grips with my sexuality when I realized that I was into women as well as men. I now identify as Pansexual but it's still tricky because I'm in a heteronormative relationship. It's easy to think well. I'm just straight now, but that wouldn't be true to who I am. I think this book covers this topic in a very thoughtful way.

I can not express this enough. Gretchen drove me absolutely nuts. I've had friends like Gretchen, and it's exhausting. Don't be a Gretchen. Be a Lily.
