This collection fucked me up. I don’t know what else there is to say, extremely emotionally upsetting throughout. Unabashedly brilliant. When Carver talks about love he talks primarily about sadness, pain and the way love hurts. He may not be wrong but if anything that only makes it harder to walk alongside him.
