This is one of those books that would have had 2 different ratings if I were rating the beginning separately from the end. The last 1/3 of the book was what saved this one for me. By the last third, a real love had developed between the characters that pulled me right in. What happened next unplugged the flood gates and the ugly crying began. The plot of this book was very different than anything that I have read. The writing got better as the book went along and the story concept itself was enough to keep me reading. The best parts, yet the hardest parts, were the plot twist and the ending. Grab some tissues before you start this one. You will need them.
