This is one of the weirdest books I have ever read and half the time I was really enjoying the book and the other half I had no clue what was going on.
This book was a satirical fever dream but written so beautifully and poetically. The ending has been left open to interpretation and I believe the entire novel is told from the mind of a schizophrenic woman whose hold on reality is extremely frail, and often simply non existent. I think all of the supernatural occurrences were a combination of hallucination and Samantha’s imagination at work as a writer.
Overall, I would recommend it as a good read.
