An exceptional memoir. I learned so much more about the historical and cultural contexts of Trevor Noah‘s life than I would have expected and his additions really enhanced the stories he presented. I was shocked at the level of nuance he presented for stories that had happened even when he was very young. Heartbreaking, funny, ridiculous, real. I would recommend this over and over.
Graphic: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Colonisation, Gun violence, Misogyny, Toxic relationship, Racism, Child abuse, and Classism
