Last Sacrifice

⭐⭐⭐⭐
holy shit. this book was so good. i loved everything, the plot, the characters, the resolutions and the things left open (i'm looking at you bloodlines) UGH. it was fantastic.
now that i've finished the series, i only have a few complaints. one: i feel like this series (if written now or even back then) would have been slightly stronger in multi POV/third person ONLY because it would have made the "visits" rose did with lissa flow with the story better, and we'd get other peoples thoughts. i'm a sucker for that. two: i kind of wanted a plot to flow through the whole series, ya know? like i kind of wanted them to go more into the fight against the strigoi throughout the six books.
on the other hand, one of my favorite things was the cast of characters. you never felt like you got too much of one or the other, or too little. everyone was evened out really well and i honestly really really liked that. that may be one of my favorite things about the series.
overall, i'm so glad i finally got this series off my TBR. it was worth it.
