I almost DNF’d this book. I enjoyed Book One while the characters were in Paris. It was interesting to see what Paris was like in the 1920s from the author who is a primary source technically.
However, the Spanish part of this story DRAGS and the bull portion also drags.
Not a huge fan of how the story was written i believe it’s just Hemingway style of writing but not a huge fan.
Definitely hit on the theme of disillusion and aimlessness as this book seemed to be both of those things. Really not my favorite book, I still don’t really understand the plot
