Wendy Darling's brothers, John and Michael, have disappeared and she is determined to find them. Her brothers were avid surfers, so Wendy begins searching through the best waves. Along the way, she finds a group of surfer guys, who live off the radar. Pete, the head of the surfers, develops a strong connection with Wendy. Will he be able to help her find her brothers? Not far off, lives another guy named Jas. He is the local drug dealer and enemy of Pete. Wendy feels a strong attraction to both boys. Will she get swept up by this new culture and forsake her old life and quest to find her brothers?
I liked this book. I don't really like the original Peter Pan story (I know various readers shoot me in the head). However, I really got into this re-tell. I wasn't a fan of the ending and really hoped that there would be a sequel. However, those lost boy surfers are just fun and awesome to be around.
