The Likeness by Tana French

5.0

I like it even better than the first book in the series. Probably it has to do with me liking Cassie (the new protagonist) better than Rob (the former one). Also, I loved the interactions of all the members of the house. As an English major myself I can see some friends reflected in them, or myself, as I always felt like I didn't belong anywhere.
This is a literary noir novel that makes you want to go to Dublin even more than the first one. It's not the sense of place, but the characters that made it for me this time. The house, yes, it was well built, but everything around it seemed so foggy... and probably it was done on purpose.
Tana French has become one of my favorite noir authors ♥
