After getting the 1st book, I couldn't wait to read the next one. but none was available for reviewing or even for purchase as I am residing outside the US. Karey White has generously sent me the Husband Maker set.
Now that Charlotte has realised who she's in love with, she's moved across the country in pursuit of the one she's in love with. But the move proved to be hard, a series of problems arose when she first moved into town, jobless and job applications were rejected. Charlotte persevered and continued her chase for Angus. Could it be too late to make her change his mind? Despite Angus' treatment, Charlotte toughened up and continued with her dream to mend things with Angus.
That trip home swayed her decision to stay and continue the pursuit for Angus, but she felt that she has gone so far and it'll be wasted not to continue. And finally her perseverance paid off and Angus changed his mind about not wanting to be with her. A happy ending for both. Nicely written series, usually the quality may decline but the author has kept it up very well. Would love to read more from the same author.
