MacRieve by Kresley Cole

5.0

This book was really hard to read. Up front, the hero MacRieve was abused as a boy by a grown woman - a succubus.

There isn't a lot I can say about this book to try to describe it without spoiling the book or earlier books in the series. I guess that's the issue when you're reviewing a series with over a dozen books.

But I really liked this one. It has the most steamy smex scene narrated by Robert Petkoff. Like hot fire flames.

I loved MacRieve despite his faults - because really, there's so much trauma he had to unpack from being molested and believing himself to be in love as a boy, abused by a woman.
