Yes!!! Cole is much more my type than his brother. His story is sad but the portrayal of his PTSD was heartbreaking. Violet was very “oh I’m so small” in the first book when she’s mentioned and there is a little bit at the beginning of this book but I think the author worked it in better; she was less timid which helped. I think these two have the best relationship so far and it felt like they went through more realistic trials and tribulations than Vaughn and Billie. I still love them both but since I’ve started to read the third book already… dare I say they might be a front runner *insert wink here.* I will thus continue my streak of Elsie Silver books while simultaneously daydreaming about living in a horse ranch with a hot, wealthy man. All the love, always <3
