There are so many great things happening in this one.
This volume does a great job at showing how the atmosphere can drastically shift depending on who is on the team and how much a supportive role and shift the tides.
- we get tosee Koushi in action! He is one of my favourite and his dynamic with Tobio especially is something I really appreciate. There is something terrible about knowing you are being replaced and even agreeing with that decision. Along with Toru on the playing field as well, you could clearly see their different playing style and how experience and knowing your teammates can affect the game. The fact that Koushi never holds back any suggestions or helpful advice means a lot to me
- Is this the first time other people start noticing how could Tsukki could be? I have actually been trying to find this exact moment cause I love how it clearly shows that Tsukki is invested even if no one would believe him. His antagonism with Tobio is still hilarious.
- I've forgotten how much Daichi and Noya carry this team in the beginning when their basics were still... in development :D
- the team is slowly starting to put their thinking hats on and strategize
