Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult

5.0

Wow. This wonderful book takes a deeper dive into the race relations and struggles that are prevalent in our society today. With the death of a newborn potentially on her hands, Ruth, the only African American nurse in her medical unit, deals with the court case of her life. I tore through this book, not just wanting to know what was going to happen next, but NEEDING to know, trying to understand what others go through throughout the process. I can't even possibly begin to explain how much I loved this book. It comes to you, HIGHLY recommended by me and it will be hard for Picoult to top this one.
