A collection of short stories primarily focused on women in southern Africa. Genres vary from fantasy to afrofuturism to modern mythology.
I don't usually care as much for short stories because I want to dive into the characters and see their whole story but this author is fantastic at setting the scene and giving you just enough of a story but I still feel like the characters are whole. I found myself wanting to read "The Soul Would Have No Rainbow" as a full novel.
