I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews on this book. Mostly because I don’t think people understand what a cozy mystery is. Sex and crime are very downplayed. Not something hot and steamy. Everyone loved the Dukes of Hazard Especially Roscoe P Coletrain. So when the cops in the books are dump dumps we are quick to judge.
Hannah Swenson has opened her own bakery. She lives in a small town where probably the biggest crime is someone put enough quarters in the newspaper stand to get one paper but grabbed two if you get my drift. So when Hannah’s milk delivery guy is found shot out back, Hannah has teamed up with her brother in law to help solve the case of who killed Ron the delivery driver. but along the way another dead body is found and every suspect has been cleared until a phone call from her mom is the biggest clue to who murdered two people of Lake Eden.
