Scythe & Sparrow by Brynne Weaver
3.0
This book had some great moments! Scythe & Sparrow was darkly funny, and the banter kept me entertained. The humor definitely stood out, and the spice was there, adding to the tension between the characters.
That said, while I enjoyed parts of it, it didn’t completely blow me away. The biggest issue? It feels like Brynne Weaver has been writing the same main characters over and over again in this series. At this point, it’s starting to feel repetitive, like she doesn’t know how to create new personalities. The story was decent, but it lacked the freshness needed to make it stand out.
Overall, an entertaining, spicy, and humorous book-but nothing new.
