The Legend of Korra: Turf Wars, Part One

Loved this! Way better than the other Avatar comic/graphic novel I read (Tales of Team Avatar).
The story was paced well and the illustrations were beautiful. My only issue is Korra and Asami's relationship. Although I love them together and am pleased with their pairing, I wish the lead up to it was better planned.
I was reading comments regarding Legend of Korra on YouTube and came across this:
"Book 1. Korra and Asami talked a bit. There was the one episode where they hung out at her dad's mansion. Then a bit of akward tension because of Mako.
Book 2. Korra and Asami don't talk. Like at all.
Book 3. Okay some adventures fun stuff, sure.
Book 4. Separated for three years, writing letters. Korra spent most of her time on her own, and Asami spent most time dealing with her problems with her father.
How the [] do you base a relationship on that? Hell, Amon x Bolin seems more realistic than Korrasami."
Regardless, I think their relationship and the various reactions to it is a good way to introduce LGBTQI+ relationships to younger children.
