Like the first book ‘Tempting the Beast’ it is an extremely erotic book. However, we are given a glimpse of the pain both emotionally and physically of Taber and Roni. But it is a small glimpse and I wish L.L. had dug a little more into the emotional side of the two. Another thing missing is the point of view of any of the antagonists or get the view of the larger world. Though from the final scene we could be getting a little more insight into the bad guy's thoughts.
