I read this book back in 2014, and it wasn’t really a favorite of mine. I remember liking it just fine but it wasn’t my favorite. Now that Nina and Max have been in other books in this series they grew on me more and more.

So I thought I would give this book another chance and I am glad I did. It’s still not my favorite because well Sweet Dreams is and will always be my favorite KA book.

But I have to say I love how Emma Taylor did Nina’s accent she nailed it not once did I think she was American even though she is ;). But the accent never wavered.

This book is suspenseful and I can’t believe I forgot the key players! It was kind of like relistening for the first time. And how awesome is that?

Max is totally a hot mountain man and I loved that, he reminds me of Tate my number one mountain man. So that’s always a plus.

The best part for me with this book was how Nina can meet anyone and they, love her she has connections with people right away, Mindy and Nina that bond is awesome and sad. I loved that the most.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*
