I didn’t read the previous two Chattan Curse books, but I don’t think it is necessary to do so.
For most of the book I didn’t like how the curse was portrayed. Why does only one dead lady have magic in this world? But after Heath started seeing some of the curse’s manifestations, I was fine with it. Up until then, Maggie just seemed crazy.
I liked Heath though! Gotta love a strong willed Scottish chieftain!
