Did not finish book. Stopped at 56%.

I read the first 150 pages of this in one day and adored them – the perspective of Valkyr was wonderfully realized, the world of Gaea station unsubtle but well-drawn, and a great doling out of twists and information that kept me hooked. Unfortunately, the premise completely shifts and goes off the rails for me – I didn't sign up for multi-versal space magic, and the transition wasn't smooth enough to keep me along for the ride. Highly recommend reading the pages I did, however, as I think there's a lot there to love.
