Idk if I was too ignorant to notice the foreshadowing or there genuinely was something missing, but I did not get the reveals. I missed them all. Thank god for Reddit humans who explain things like you’re a 5yr old. Which is the exact age I felt like at so many points in the book. I just felt so out of the loop, like I didn’t know enough or didn’t make the connections.
Not his strongest in the SA series personally, was not a let down but his usual magic wasn’t there plot wise. Character arcs were beautiful as usual. He’s expanded the scope of SA from Roshar to now include other parts of the cosmere. I’m very very intrigued to see how this will play out, might need to re-read it before the next one.
