I think what's so good about this manga is the way in which it builds the backstory into the characters in a way which means that you can figure out what happened (or what's going to happen) and then it delivers rather then trying to do a plot twist that surprises you.

It goes if you're willing to think about this you can figure it out before it happens my story is good enough that I don't have to rely on shock value.
