- The characters can be kind of cliche and pretentious, but that is to be expected. It does not entirely make sense, sort of like an acid trip, not like I know what that's like. This book is more targeted towards people who appreciate the dark academia genre. I wish there was more commentary on the theme of class and elitism, but overall it was alright.

It starts off slow, but picks up at part 3. I love Ava, Samantha and
Max, and their relationship, despite it being entirely fabricated.

The plot is entriguiging as well. The bunnies, well, I sort of admired their creativity and aesthetics, (the duchess' especially) but didn't like the way they pitied Samantha, or
what they did to Ava near the end of the novel.
