I'm a sucker for an eco-horror, especially when it's this informative, darkly funny and chilling. And has incredibly beautiful, fairy tale artwork. There's an undercurrent of pervasive nihilism that runs through the volume and perfectly mirrors current and future climate change and the anxiety around it. And yet... somehow it still manages to be hopeful, against all odds. Brilliant to read if you only know Ivy from her interactions with other characters, like Batman or Harley Quinn, or if you're interested in the environment (I learned a lot of facts about agave syrup and its consequences from this comic).
