Harvest of Hearts was just a delightful turn-on-its-head of the "mysterious magical soulmate connection" trope.  The characters' were engaging, especially the unabashedly charming Cornelius the cat. The plot dragged a bit about three-fourths of the way through, and I got bogged down for a few days, but the push through brought it back together. Cornelius and the opinionated magic house were definitely the stars of this show for me. This is definitely for fans of Howl's Moving Castle and for those who like to see familiar tropes played out in a new way.
