I didn’t love it like I loved the book before but I still liked it better than the first. I saw that last plot twist coming within the first 20 pages so it wasn’t a huge surprise. I love how the two MC’s handled it together, but it did feel very swept under the rug for a final hurdle. I laughed, I cried, but I didn’t feel as invested as I have in other books.
