I went into this book blind, other than knowing it is sad. I was unprepared for just how sad the story was going to be. Rebecca Yarros is easily becoming one of my favorite authors. She has a way of bringing the reader into the world. I felt like I knew these characters personally. Have a box of tissues at the ready when reading.
