The book started off slow. I was interested to see what happened but not really invested.
It wasn't until I was 2/3 of the way through that I felt the book picked up and delivered.
Those last 100ish pages. Wow. I stayed up way too late to devour them. I was shocked, I teared up a few times, I was nervous.
The last pages the stakes became higher, the adventure bigger and the surprises larger.
Overall not a great book, but the last 100 pages saved it from a 2 star read for me.
