Confessions: The Private School Murders by Maxine Paetro, James Patterson
3.0

What I really enjoyed about this book was that there were essentially 3 different crimes going on all at once, so there was a heck of a lot of mysteriousness to detective your way through. Tandy's older brother Matthew was on trial for the murder of his girlfriend and unborn child, even though there was no evidence. Young girls who attended high-dollar private schools were being murdered. And then there were deadly poisonous animals crawling their way all through the Dakota, the fancy building that the Angels live in.

However, throughout the majority of this book, Tandy kept pining over a boy and talking about how much she loves him and how his touch gave her a tingly feeling and blah blah blah. This freaking irked me to my core, because girl your helpless brother is about to be charged as guilty of murder while you're over here obsessing over a boy you haven't seen or heard from in months. Like stop it. Be there for your brother and help him. I'm all for a romantic subplot, but that was just too overbearing for me.
