Enjoyable and interesting idea with characters with complex backstories. However the connection between the main characters, Scottie and Callahan, was primarily physical for the majority of the book. They went from hooking up, to dislike, to love without really getting to know a whole lot about each other. Granted they learnt more and delved into those conversations a bit later on (after they were in love) but it just felt a bit too late.

However, I generally liked the characters and I really enjoyed the story once they were on the mountain and I liked the way it ended.

Also, if you want spice, this book definitely does that well.
