A Spy Among Friends: Kim Philby and the Great Betrayal by Ben Macintyre

5.0

terrific

I had heard of the name of Kim philby before but I didn’t know the story behind the name. It’s quite a story how he got from joining with a few individuals of a communist background during his college days to becoming a full fledged spy and transferring secrets over an extended period of time to the Soviet Union. The consequences during the Cold War because of his transmitting secrets were quite significant. The ending of this story I found to be quite peculiar
