Daisy's Decision
by Ruby Dixon
This one was a bit disappointing for me. I like O’jek, I actually think Daisy’s slave-conditioning was an interesting plot point (but that could have been explored further), but mostly I was wondering why any of this took three years to happen. O’jek was just in love with Daisy and simultaneously everyone was just letting her not contribute for THREE WHOLE YEARS? It doesn’t make sense. The stuff in the fruit cave was mildly interesting, but again, underdeveloped. All the plot seemed a bit manufactured. Not my favorite entry in this series.
