Hot and dark in all the right ways. Very kinky. And double penetration as a cherry on top.

Seven only understands sex and pain. But he can’t fathom gentle sex or soft affection—it freaks him out and doesn’t get him out of his head. He’s also got severe rejection issues and fear of being left alone. Not to mention he’s running from a sex trafficking family. This sets up the perfect angst factory.

I really enjoyed how Caleb, Vortex, and Havoc are allowed to be fallible when dealing with Seven’s triggers and traumas. They struggle to unpack what his needs are and how to provide that without leaning into Seven’s desire to self-harm. But ultimately they end up doing the right thing when it matters.

I can’t really think of any complaints off the top of my head, which is rare for me.
