Calamity Jack by Nathan Hale, Shannon Hale, Dean Hale

3.0

We met Jack in Rapunzel's Revenge where he was more of a sidekick, but this is more his story. The reader gets a clearer picture of his past and why he became the mischievous outlaw he was when Rapunzel met him. Together, Jack and Rapunzel must journey back to Jack's home and save his mother and his hometown.

I'm still enjoying these books. The good guy/bad guy dynamic is good, the incorporation of strange fantastical characters with regular people is good. It's good.
