I wish it was longer, but at the same it's perfect. I've finished it in a day and I think that was one of the most important books I've read in my life. Some of the things were different from the movie and I really didn't like him: for example
at the party (movie) knox kissed chris's forehead gently, and in the book he molested her by touching her boobs while she was kissing with her boyfriend..
Todd's character development was really noticeable and the whole book is just amazing, but there are a lot of shortcomings. Let me explain - in the movie, you see everything so you can sense the atmosphere in the during moment, the place they are in, their faces and clothes, and even slightest smiles and quick eye contacts. In the book, a lot of important descriptions like that have been skipped and it made it a bit bland (at least to my liking - I'm in love with the books that are really long and descriptive). It wasn't bad, no, it was amazing but objectively talking, I would recommend watching the movie instead of reading the book, and if you want to read it -> watch the movie first (saying this as someone who did the opposite). The book also has some of the deleted scenes that didn't make it into the movie!

Overall - would recommend as a light read (you can finish it in 3 hours), but the movie is just better.
