I'm SO glad this lived up to all the hype and exceeded all my expectations. My favorite part was definitely when she mentioned "her friend Liz" and I immediately assumed it was Elizabeth Gilbert, and I was so happy to be right. They're both writing goddesses, and I can't stress that enough. I learned a lot from this book, and I will keep rereading it whenever I need some reminders on a solid perspective on life. I was surprised that I even enjoyed the chapters about her parenting strategies since I typically skim over chapters that revolve around kids/pregnancy/etc. in memoirs. I love the way she raised her kids to be feminists from day one, and how much spunk/intelligence her kids show in her anecdotes. I loved the super short chapters, too. Might I add that the cover is also ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Apologies for this review being extremely all over the place, but I just have too many positive things to say that I can't coherently express them all!
