This was so good in a way that totally caught me off guard. I didn't know what to expect going in but I really enjoyed the writing and how Geneva Monroe linked the characters to The Wizard of Oz, it was stable and didn't make me cringe or roll my eyes. It was also super dark and a bit twisted which made me love it even more. Love that it's a trilogy, I can't wait to read the rest and see how the story unfolds. If you love a dark fairytale-esque novel, then don't sleep on this one, it's worth the read. Check your trigger warnings and happy reading!
