Rhys is a trademark 'Twisted' protagonist; he's got that brooding, dark personality and is constantly growling and snapping at people. Except for his 'princess' Bridget, of course, for whom he's fallen head over heels. The way he keeps saying that he 'claims' her multiple times throughout the book really drove the idea home.

I kind of enjoyed this book for its corny romantic elements, and I think it caters to a specific group of hopeless romantics who really enjoy possessive/obsessive men. The spicy scenes really sizzled, I won't deny, but some of the dirty talks sounded a bit mean to me. Or maybe I'm too vanilla for this degrading dirty talk, almost veering on misogynic. For a royal, she was a bit too chill with all that.

A lot of cliché tropes but fun book.
