This emotional book absolutely captured my heart. It’s sad but also hopeful, with the most darling characters. The relationships they form are so heartwarming and feel so true. If I had to find something wrong, it’s the rather cavalier treatment of marriage. The narration is fantastic, expertly capturing all the accents and intonations and delivers all the feeling too - especially joy. Just lovely.
