I'm deciding to give Star Daughter a very generous two stars,,, The entire time I was so bored I just wanted to finish and be done. However, I did love all the representation, it's extremely needed, and the whimsical setting is something I usually love and wasn't too bad, but nothing else did it for me. I think if this book was like 150-200 pages shorter and redirected it's attention, it would've been much better, because I do love the idea of this novel !! The execution just wasn't the best. Also the cover,,, Cries. It's so beautiful.
